Golden Globe Updo's

Award season always gives us commoners some inspiration for new hair and make up idea’s to try out and this years Golden Globes was no exception. Whether is was an old classic or more modern, the ladies were out and looking fabulous, giving me plenty of idea’s for our new brides to try.

Natalie Portman has choose an old classic the french twist. Though it is a classic look if done wrong or not to suite the person it can look dated and age the person who is wearing it but not Natalie, on her it was timeless. With the volume at the crown and smoothness it looked absolutely beautiful, would we expect anything else from Natalie.

Now Mila Kunis also choose the classic look but with a modern twist! With tons of volume and more texture it turns this classic look into a modern masterpiece. Mila Kunis pulls this off flawlessly.

Scarlett Johansson chose something a little bit of out her style zone a very modern sculpted updo with two beautiful curved barrettes. With a mass of curls at the back and everything pulled off the face in the front, this is a look I’d love to see on a bridesmaid or bride this wedding season!

Julianne Hough’s braided bun was absolutely stunning. The volume on top pulled straight back without a part complemented her beautiful gown. I would love to see a look like this a bride who has choose not to wear a veil. As it becomes more and more common to forgo the old tradition of a veil a bride should try to make a statement with her hair or a beautiful piece of hair jewellery.
